I know they used to but do they still do? I can’t imagine an R35 GTR in Japan is detuned to 276hp.

Heck most midsized sedans have more than that now with their V6 models.

It's an agreement to not announce that the vehicles make more than 276, IIRC. Some vehicles are WELL above that though.

The video is satire so I just took the 276 bhp thing as a joke. Now I see it’s actually sort-of-kind-of real. Either way, the video is hilarious.
